As an artist from Southeast Louisiana who trained in studio art receiving a BFA from Louisiana State University, I focus on creating Catholic art. My art is prayer. Inspired by personal devotion, a sacramental worldview, sacred scripture, the tradition of the Church, and the lives of the saints, I reference a vast scope of artistic styles and eras while drawing upon Classical, Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque art as well as Iconography. “In order to communicate the message entrusted to her by Christ, the Church needs art” (Pope John Paul II). God has imbued all creation with the glory of his mystery and art helps make this perceptible. And thus the Church needs artists. Grateful for God’s generous grace and for the role of art in plunging me into the mystery of my Catholic faith; I desire to evangelize through art. The creative power of the Gospel that transforms sinners into saints also inspires me to paint. Painting allows me to give expression to my love of God and to participate in the New Evangelization by reintroducing the beauty of Christ and his bride, the Church, to a post-modern world.

After much prayer, discernment, and encouragement from others, my future wife and I have decided to take a leap after our greatest leap ( our marriage in May) next year. We are grateful to be anouncing that I will be attending the Sacred Art School in Florence, Italy. We appreciate the prayers and support we receive from others as we try make our lives a better gift for Christ and His Church. Please help support us by visiting our online shop!
